Segezha Group to start construction of a plywood mill in Russia

The Segezha Group plans to start the construction of a new plywood mill in Galich, in the Kostroma Region of Russia in 2018. According to the announcement, the new plywood mill will have a design capacity of 100,000m3/year.

Earlier this year Segezha’s subsidiaries in the Vologda region of Russia, Sokolsky PPM and Vologda Paper Mill signed a Collective Agreement in Russia.

The Segezha Group is one of the largest Russian forest industry holdings with the vertically integrated structure and a full cycle of logging and added-value wood processing.

The holding comprises Russian and European enterprises in the forest, wood processing and pulp and paper industries, as well as paper packaging.
