US decision on preliminary antidumping margins on Chinese plywood
Thursday, June 22, 2017 The US Department of Commerce has announced its preliminary antidumping margins’ decision on imports of Chinese hardwood plywood into the US, reports the Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Association (HPVA). Nearly all Chinese companies will pay antidumping duties of 57% or higher as well as countervailing duties of 9% or more.

China’s wood based panel exports decreased by 5% in 2016
Wednesday, June 14, 2017 China’s wood based panel exports in 2016 totalled 15 million m3 valued at US$670m, a year-on-year increase of 2% in volume but decrease of 5% in value, reports the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO).
