Action Tesa, India enhances scope with Siempelkamp
Friday, September 02, 2016 Action Tesa, the India based company producing MDF/HDF and particleboard has ordered a forming and press line including a 8ft x 27.1m ContiRoll from Siempelkamp as well as other components, including the sifter, cooling and stacking line, and a high-stack storage system, for an MDF/HDF plant. The contracting party is Belaji Action Buildwell in New Delhi, a company of the Action Group which has already applied several innovations in the area of wood based material production in India.
Russian orders worth €32m for Raute
Friday, September 02, 2016 Orders worth almost €32m have been received by Raute Corporation for the expansion of Vyatskiy Fanernyi Kombinat’s mill in the Kirov region in Russia. The order was closed with an Italian company Carmac Group srl which is the EPC contractor in this project.

Panel shipments down 9%
Thursday, September 01, 2016 July 2016 shipments of particleboard and MDF in the US and Canada totalled 439 million ft2 (¾in basis), a decrease of 9.07% from 483 million ft2 during the comparable month in 2015, according to a Composite Panel Association’s (CPA) Industry Snapshot Report. Year-to-date shipments of 3.246 BSF trailed 2015 by 1.2%.

The Dürr Group majority-owned affiliate was able to almost match its record order intake of the prior year again, despite negative exchange rate effects, and reach Euro €551m (prior year: €557m).
