Raute remains optimistic after half year results
23 August 2016Results for the Raute Corporation in the first half of 2016 showed net sales of €53.7m declined 5% on the comparison period with order intake of €28m. Operating profit was €2.9m with result before taxes of €2.8m.
Net sales for Q2 were €27.3m and operating profit was €1.5m positive. Order intake at €16m was extremely low and the order book at the end of the reporting period was also low at €32m.
The outlook for financial performance remains unchanged and Raute’s net sales and operating profit for 2016 are expected to remain at the same level as in 2015.
