Kronospan increases Alabama investment to US$463m
3 July 2018Panel producer Kronospan plans to increase the investment in their Oxford, Alabama expansion by US$101m to a total of US$463m.
The expansion was originally announced in mid-2016 as a US$362m investment to include two laminate flooring and decorative paper impregnation lines; a particleboard and thermally-infused laminate line; and expansion of its resin plant.
The project was originally slated to begin late 2016 and continue through 2018. No new timeline was announced.
