IPPS Masterclass 2018 will cover panel application in timber framed housing and off-site construction
12 July 2018The International Panel Products Symposium (IPPS) MasterClass 2018 will be held in Bangor, Wales, September 4-5, 2018. The MasterClass takes a more informal approach than the IPPS Symposium (held in alternating years) which is the leading technical conference on wood based panels including all aspects of panel production technology and offering an ideal networking opportunity for science and industry.
This year’s MasterClass will look at an important application for wood based panels: timber framed housing and off-site construction. Several key themes relating to panel use in the built environment will be addressed, eg, fire performance and indoor air quality. Expert input will be given from several guest speakers.
Cost of the workshop is £220 per delegate and includes evening meal; accommodation is available at £27.50 inc Vat in the 4-star Visit Wales graded campus accommodation giving full access to the university’s on site WiFi. ipps@bangor.ac.uk
