The Composite Panel Association (CPA) Autumn Meeting and Material, Technology & Design Symposium concluded with a record high number of attendees.

The board of directors approved a revision to CPA¹s Eco-Certified Composite (ECC) Standard with an effective date of January 1, 2019. The revised standard is significantly strengthened by requiring ECC programme participants to meet the EPA¹s Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Title VI formaldehyde emissions requirements for 100% of their panels 100% of the time.

The board of directors also approved a revision to CPA¹s Formaldehyde Emissions Grademark Certification Programme Quality Assurance Manual. The revision incorporates a number of changes to the manual necessary to certify compliance with EPA¹s TSCA Title VI regulation and clarifies the requirements of CPA¹s certification programme wherever the TSCA Title VI, CARB and HUD standards do not align.
