WBPI has been informed that leading Iranian wood-based panels executive Mohsen Ansari has died.

Mr Ansari, regarded as a ‘true leader’ in Iran’s wood and MDF industry, was the owner of ROJIN PAYA, founding the MDF brands VISSPAN and VINA in Iran. 

Born in Tehran in 1977, Mr Ansari established authentic brands with high quality products meeting cutting edge standards in every single process, from raw materials to finishes.

“He was not only a trend maker in the industry but also a leader who cared, a lot,” said ROJIN PAYA, which is now led by Mr Ansari’s younger brother.

“To companies’ human resources and the people in general; he was a leader who created brands with love, precision and art. 

“We believe his soul is with us and the whole organization will move forward with extra motivation just to pay tribute to its creator’s extreme contribution to build VISSPAN and VINA family and the world around.”

Mr Ansari was regarded as playing a key role in the MDF industry, making a meaningful impact on product quality and industry development.

WBPI understands that Mr Ansari passed away following a car accident on December 21, 2025.
