The turnover was achieved through customer orders in Europe and Asia in the flooring, structural element and furniture industry. Customers have included Steelcase, Maja and Sogal.
"Despite what is undeniably a difficult economic environment in some regions such as southern Europe, and in the face of tough competition, we have exceeded all our set targets," said Bernhard Lammers, head of Homag Group’s engineering department.
In 2011 Homag increased group sales but still posted a net loss of €4.7m.
