Based on growth in the applications for CPL laminates, Egger, the Tyrolean wood based material manufacturer has invested in a new continuous laminate press.
The new line was commissioned at the Giforn plant in Lower Saxony at the beginning of 2012. This has significantly increased the plant’s production capacity by a total of 20% and created 20 new jobs.
Consequently the annual production capacity has been increased by 4.5 million m2 to around 27 million m2.
A new warehouse with 1,900m2 of floor space is also being built over the coming months in order to meet rising customer requirements in terms of logistics.
The new line from the company Hymmen was designed to meet specific Egger requirements.
