In December 2012, CPI Papéis, which was founded in 1979 and is based in Cruzeiro, São Paulo state, launched a new 70m long impregnation line tripling its production capacity from one million m2 to three million m2.
With its takeover of Revest, also located in Cruzeiro, CPI now plans to expand its capacity once more to serve the additional customers and grow its export business.
CPI, which already had export customers throughout the American continent, expanded its business into Africa and Asia last year, it said. The latest acquisition is part of its strategy to become more competitive through growing the company.
