Metalube wins sustainability prize at Salford Business Awards
Metalube Group, a leading manufacturer of industrial lubricants, has won a Sustainability Award (runner-up), at the Salford Business Awards at The Lowry in Manchester. Robert Brown, the company’s managing director and his wife Helen attended the event and received the award in person.

Global chemicals company Huntsman is a leading provider of non-added formaldehyde, fast-curing resins for the composite wood sector. Huntsman played a significant role in pioneering the use of MDI (methylene diphenyl di-isocyanate) in the composite wood panel industry, introducing MDI into particleboard (PB) products in the 1970s and OSB in the 1980s. Kastamonu starts up new MDF fibre preparation line
Kastamonu Entegre Ağaç Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ (KEAS) has started up its new fibre preparation line for MDF production at its mill in Balikesir in Turkey. KEAS is the largest wood panel producer in Turkey and now successfully operates three production lines supplied by ANDRITZ.
