MDF shipments for May 2016 increased 12.2% as compared to the same month last year – from 186 million ft2 to 209 million ft2 (¾in basis). Year-to-date shipments are at 990 million ft2, up 8.1% from the same period in 2015.
Particleboard shipments were 2.79% higher than May 2015 totals, from 278 million ft2 to 286 million ft2 (¾in basis).
