Valmet says its collaboration project with S Kijchai Enterprise has resulted in the successful startup of its new Valmet Defibrator system for line 3 of the board producer’s plant in Thailand.
Valmet said commissioning went smoothly at the plant and training was conducted by the experienced team on site to quickly reach stable production performance of the Defibrator system.
“We are truly grateful for the dedication and teamwork from every part of Valmet, which brought both the installation and the first board to a successful conclusion,” says Harnsiri Sangwongkij, Exclusive Vice President, S Kijchai Enterprise PCL.
Hans-Jörgen Tumfart, Sales Manager, Pulp, Energy and Circularity, Valmet, said the project represented the 13th Valmet Defibrator system in Thailand.
“The first board quality looks excellent,” added Krisda Pongpraket, Sales Manager, Fiberboard, Asia Pacific, Valmet.
“From here, both teams will collaborate closely to fine-tune the equipment and bring the line to full production capacity at the earliest opportunity.”
Valmet’s scope of supply includes the latest Valmet Defibrator system, EVO 64. The EVO Defibrator technology places an even stronger emphasis on energy efficiency.
