Kronospan Technical Holdings Ltd and Flooring Technologies Ltd (Swiss Krono Group), as shareholders in Välinge International Ltd, have noted the press releases from Välinge Flooring Technology and the information that the company’s auditor issued in a memo dated January 28, 2011 to the board , in which a number of observations were made regarding dealings between Välinge and Mr Darko Pervan’s private company.
Based on this, Kronospan Technical Holdings and Flooring Technologies, as shareholders in Välinge International, believe that the decision of Välinge Flooring Technology to relieve the ceo of Välinge Innovation, Darko Pervan, of his duties until further notice and to appoint a temporary acting ceo is a decision in line with normal corporate governance and as such supported by both shareholders.
Both shareholders will jointly support the company in order to assure that continuation and daily business are not affected by the present situation.
