Ikea subsidiary Swedspan Holding, based in the Netherlands, has made an offer for a particleboard mill in Lure, France, owned by Sonae Indústria affiliate Isoroy.
n a recent statement, Sonae Indústria, of Maia, Portugal, said Isoroy had started a consultation process with employee representatives.
The company said no decision would be made on whether to accept the offer until the consultation procedure was complete.
