Norbord’s plant in South Molton also achieved one million hours without a LTA. It is the mill’s third safety record in the past 10 years; the first in 2007 and then in 2010.
Safety achievement for Norbord
Wood based panels manufacturer Norbord Europe celebrated a double safety achievement last year with two mills recording more than one million hours without a lost time accident (LTA) - that’s equivalent to one person working for 350 years without a LTA.
