It is the largest single order ever received by Raute’s Mecano unit in Kajaani, Finland. The value of the order has not been disclosed.
The order includes eight machine vision systems for birch veneer composers that utilise Mecano’s colour and fluoroscopic imaging technology and ten birch and softwood veneer clipping and grading analyzers equipped with the most cutting edge Mecano machine vision and moisture analysis technology, as well as an MIS reporting system.
Raute’s Mecano unit in Kajaani specialises in the development, manufacture and maintenance of smart analyzers and offers related training and consulting for the plywood and LVL industry.
