Finnish wood products technology supplier Raute Oyj has said it will supply machinery worth €15m for an LVL plant to be built in Muling, China.
The plant is owned by Chinese company Dalian Kemian Wood Products Co which has entered the deal via its subsidiary Muling Kemian Wood Products Co Ltd.
As the current deal is not binding – the contract is subject to finalising details – it will not have an impact on Raute’s net sales and financial outlook for 2010, the company said.
For the current year, Raute expects its net sales to increase and the operating result to be positive.
