Polymer Solutions Group expands portfolio with acquisition of PUR Polymerics
29 April 2019Polymer Solutions Group (PSG), a leading manufacturer of specialty polymers and additives has acquired PUR Polymerics line of engineered wood release agents.
PUR Polymerics, based in Cambridge, Ontario, provides specialty release agents for the particleboard, fibreboard, and engineered wood markets.
“Our concentrated approach allows us to be leaders in these applications. We do a few things very well,” said Tom Mason, president of PUR Polymerics.
“With PUR Polymerics’ focused approach in the market, their product line is an excellent addition for us to accelerate growth within our PSG functional materials division,” said Mike Ivany, PSG’s president and CEO, “it provides key technologies we can quickly utilise to advance our TechKote product line.”
