The company will expand operations by constructing a new 15,000ft2 building and adding a new line of veneer splicing equipment.
In addition, Oak Hill will lease a 35,000ft2 building in the same community where it will install a new line of manufacturing equipment to produce veneer board.
The company plans to invest almost US$2m on the project and has also committed to the creation of 73 new, full-time jobs and the retention of 62 current positions over the next three years.
Oak Hill Veneer received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development that includes US$146,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits and a US$225,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant.
Oak Hill Veneer is one of 18 companies owned by Spanish company, Grupo Losan, which is exclusively dedicated to the manufacture of wood products, for the furniture, decorative and equipment industries.
