Metso is continuing to maintain a strong position in supplying equipment to the global fibreboard industry.
Of the latest 17 projects that involve installation of Evolution Defibrator fibre-preparation systems, five were started up in 2011 and another 12 are scheduled for start-up in 2012.
Of the projects close to 70% of them have or will be installed in Asia and Southeast Asia.
“South America continues to be an important and successful market and prospects for developing in the East European market appear to be promising,”
said Mattias Erixon, senior sales manager, fibre business line.
