Lonza originally acquired Arch in 2011 and subsequently changed the name. This latest re-branding encompasses the European, Middle East and African operations.

"Our successful and customer focused business remains a key part of the Lonza family and we will have Lonza’s continued support to develop innovators for our wood protection customers and markets," said Dr Tony Kelly, Arch Timber Protection business director.

He said the move would unify all the company’s global wood protection businesses and provide a distinct and consistent focus in its various markets.

"The new Arch Timber Protection brand design is a natural evolution from our original Arch identity during the last decade and provides a fresh and innovative image as we continue to provide tried and tested wood protection products, application technologies and customer support services," said Mr Kelly.
