The second Latin America Forest Industry Conference (LATINA) will take place on March 26-28, 2012 in São Paolo, Brazil, entitled ‘How can Latin America’s forestry industry continue to innovate and address new challenges?’

Organisers say the two-day conference will explore these and many other challenges faced by the region’s forest industry and provide a forum for discussion and networking for forestry specialists and for production, marketing, sales and strategic professionals in all sections of the forest industry, as well as the opportunities presented within Latin America.

Speakers will include WBPI contributor Bernard Fuller of Cambridge Forest Products Associates, Tom Julia of the Composite Panel Association, Robert Flynn of RISI and many other experts from the wood products and forestry sectors. www.latinaforestconference.com
