The company announced the intent to purchase a rail-served facility of 200,000ft2 from Agracel.

Stevens’ board of directors made the decision after a site selection process of several surrounding regions, and conclusion that expanding in Effingham was their preferred option.  The expansion further secures Stevens’ status as the largest commercial casework manufacturer in North America, as well as increasing laminated panel capacity by 40%.
