Fantoni will be using the plant to replace two multi-opening lines at its main site in Osoppo, Italy.
As part of the scope of supply Dieffenbacher will also provide modifications on the existing fibre dries and two new fibre sifters.
The core package includes a forming station equipped with the latest generation of mechanical forming equipment, a forming line and a CPS 240 – 65.5 continuous MDF press.
The 65.5m long CPS produces boards with a width between 1830 and 2200mm and a thickness of between 6 and 60mm.
The plant is designed to deliver an annual output of 460,000m3 Start-up is scheduled for the end of 2016.
