Dr Martin Ohlmeyer of the Thünen Institute of Wood Research in Hamburg and Dr Mark Irle of École Supérieure du Bois in Nantes will be just two of the speakers talking about VOCs, the latest regulatory issues, relevant emissions from wood based panels and future strategies that could be considered. The talks will be combined with practical demonstrations.

As usual the Master Class includes a gala dinner but this year the centre is also celebrating its 25th anniversary. To help celebrate this event, Andrew Carpenter, chief executive from the Structural Timber Association has agreed to give an after dinner speech to mark this occasion.

Dr Rob Elias, director of the BioComposites Centre said: "We have achieved a huge amount since we started 25 years ago, the gala dinner will not only be an opportunity to meet old friends and celebrate those achievements but also a springboard to build new projects to take our industry forward."

BC is keen to hear from past staff and clients who would like invites.
