Homatherm, Berga, Germany, has recheduled plans to install plant and machinery at the Saint-Dizier particleboard plant it acquired from Isoroy’s (Sonae Industria, Portugal) in 2010.
The revised start-up date is now autumn 2012, about a year behind the original schedule.
The Isoroy plant site closed in spring 2009 because of an unfavourable business environment and oversupply in Europe, plus the high cost (€18m) needed to upgrade the plant.
