“The primary objective of the new service is to stimulate demand across North America for decorative surfaces, then channel those opportunities towards our customers base,” said Todd Graham, DesignOneSource North American specification manager.

“Two years ago we determined that the industry was evolving and needed a different type of support than was currently being provided. So we went back to the drawing board and created a new program totally focused on servicing the needs of the A&D client base based on today’s conditions.”

The DesignOneSource specification team includes 15 experienced industry professionals, combined with a product offering supplied by 66 distribution centres that represent materials from: Rugby Architectural Building Products, Hardwoods Specialty Products and Paxton Lumber.

The company said that over 500,000 SKUs are integrated with real time material tracking, order processing, and inventory status. Product specifications for all suppliers are in one place and the website also offers project imagery, documents, tools and support services.
