furniPRO Asia 2012 succeeds in breaking new ground
23 October 2012The first edition of FurniPRO Asia, South East Asia’s platform and gateway for the international woodworking and furniture production industry took place in October in Singapore Expo, Hall 2.
There were three days lively discussions and deal making that saw close to 100 global brands showcasing the latest innovations to some 100 key hosted buyers from the region and over 2,000 trade visitors of which more than 50% came from overseas.
"The response from the industry has been very position," said Michael Dreyer, vice president, Asia Pacific, Koelmesse. "I believe that furniPRO Asia has arrived at an opportune time to fill a pressing need in the Asian market, one which has been vacant for some years now."
