This year it will feature the newest Flamex control panel, the FMZ 5000, which allows a high degree of flexibility as it can be used to monitor a variety of detectors and associated devices, says the company, claiming the modular design of the panel makes expansion and upgrades simple and cost-effective. Data recording and display of system activity has been facilitated by the panel’s interface capability with a personal computer. Flamex has been installed in thousands of facilities worldwide and has gained many Factory Mutual (insurance) Approvals.

Flamex
Flamex says its Spark Detection and Extinguishing System is a cost-effective solution for the prevention of bag house fires and explosions. Sparks generated from production machinery are rapidly detected and suppressed in ductwork before entering the dust collector. Currently in its fifth generation of development, the Flamex system has, it says, been continually improved to incorporate the latest advances in technology.
