Egger’s Brilon sawmill, Wismar OSB plant and Radauti OSB mill are being joined in a separate division – Egger Building Products – to combine marketing of the company OSB and solid wood operations.
With the completion of the Romanian mill in Radauti, the division will have 350 employees and a capacity of 500,000m³ of timber and 660,0000m³ of OSB.
“We are providing the conditions for further broadening our expertise in the wood construction segment,said Ulrich Bühler, Egger group manager sales/distribution.
By integrating product development, marketing and applications engineering for building products, Egger said it was ensuring a systematic development of the building products range.
