With a daily output of 800m³, the longer than 65m CPS will be the world's largest continuous LVL press as measured by production capacity. The upstream 600kW microwave will be the most powerful preheating system of this type in LVL production.
"We obviously knew of Dieffenbacher's previous LVL projects. These excellent references are among the reasons that we ultimately chose Dieffenbacher as our supplier," said Roseburg president and CEO Grady Mulbery.
Roseburg has earmarked a total investment of US$200m for its new LVL production line. Construction starts in Q1, 2018. Production of the first board is planned for 2019.
