Decorative Panels Ltd is working with German company Hymmen on a £2m (US$3.9m) project to improve standards of gloss finishing at the UK company’s Elland facility. The new Hymmen lamination line will be installed in late summer and has been designed with a compact 40m dimension to meet factory space availability.
It will operate with a wide range of substrates, including MDF, particleboard, hollow core, hardboard and plywood. The new line will process a range of adhesive types and will condition substrates before lamination.
