CMPC lower Q3 plywood sales
14 January 2020Chilean forestry company and plywood producer CMPC reported lower Q3, 2019 plywood sales volumes due to lower sales in Chile and exports to Europe.
The company registered plywood sales volumes of 104,000m3 in Q3, as against 112,000m3 in Q3 2018.
Its plywood sales volumes were up compared to Q2, 2019 though, registering a 10% increase from the 94,000m3 reported in Q2. The increase was attributed to higher exports to the US, Latin America and Oceania.
