GPC Quimica is in a long lasting resin development partnership with Chimar Hellas. Chimar is exceptionally experienced in the area of developing resins for post dryer resin addition systems and its presence at the start up was paramount.
Chimar worked closely with Berneck’s personnel ensuring a smooth operation at start-up. This resulted in 1000m3/day (more than 60% of its capacity) being reached in less than nine months with a low consumption of UF resin per net cubic metre.
