The French Schmidt-Groupe (previously SALM), Lièpvre, which also includes the German kitchen furniture manufacturer Schmidt, has recently ordered two Batch Size 1 plants from Anthon.
Anthon who has in current production a Batch Size 1 plant for the Swedish furniture manufacturer Kinnarps AB, continues with these new orders in its successful way in the Batch Size 1 production.
The two new plants are intended for the new plant in Selestat – 7000 parts per shift per plant are produced.
The Schmidt Groupe employs approximately 1,450 people and operates five plants in France, three in Sélestat and one each in Lièpvre and Bergheim – and another plant at Saarland Location Türkismühle.
