Siempelkamp India Pvt Ltd has announced two recent milestones in customer projects in India – with Elixrr Industries Pvt Ltd and M5 Green Pvt Ltd.

The team made the announcement in Bangalore during India Wood – which took place from February 26 to March 2. Both projects are either in the installation phase or about to be installed.

The partnership with Elixrr Industries Pvt Ltd, led by Elixrr president Raman Poddar, represents a significant step and represents Elixrr’s entry into MDF production. In 2025, the Indian company headquartered in Mumbai, ordered an MDF plant, featuring an 8ft x 33.8m ContiRoll Generation 9 along with Contitherm Neo and AI-based Prod-IQ SmartPress technology.

The project is currently under installation near Gwalior (MP). On completion, the project will deliver a production capacity of 1,100m3 per day of MDF boards.

Meanwhile, M5 Green Pvt Ltd has strategically entered the MDF production segment. This turnkey project includes a 4ft x 33.8m ContiRoll Generation 9, complemented by Contitherm Neo and Siempelkamp Sifter, which are specially tailored to meet M5 Green’s operational requirements in the use of South Indian tropical wood.

Installation will begin in May in Pala (Kerala). Once completed, the plant will have a capacity of 600mper day of MDF boards.

“We are delighted to support both companies in their ambitious projects and are grateful for the trust placed in us as a partner,” said Samiron Mondal, CEO BU Capital, Siempelkamp GmbH & Co KG.

“This trust applies both to our highly trained, strong team in India and to our company as a whole, which has been established in the wood-based panel industry for many decades.”

Siempelkamp India, established in 2010, has around 30 team members, with five new engineers having recently joined the company. Two branches operate – the headquarters are located in Kolkata, West Bengal, while a branch for software development and programming is based in Pune, Maharashtra.
