SVEZA’s Ust-Izhora plywood mill (UIFK) in St Petersburg, Russia has opened a new shop floor for the production of special cut-to-size plywood products. A modern panel sizing saw Schelling (Austria) has been installed in the shop.

"We work with the leading European manufacturers of formwork. They often require special sizes for wall formwork and formwork for composite structures, as well as for custom solutions," says Ianina Kurtkezidi, key account manager at SVEZA.

"Our new facilities will enable us to expand the products and services that we offer, both for our industrial customers and for dealers."

In 2013, SVEZA plans to expand the capabilities of the cut-to-size plywood shop, and equip it with a spray booth and special packaging equipment.
