SmartPly replaces multi-daylight plant with state-of-the-art line by Siempelkamp
27 August 2014OSB manufacturer SmartPly Europe Ltd – part of the business division Coillte Panel Products (CPP) of the Irish state forestry organisation Coillte – has decided to replace its multi-daylight plant at the Waterford location, Ireland.
The company has placed an order with Siempelkamp for a forming and press line including a continuous ContiRoll press as well as numerous finishing line machines.
The scope of supply for the new Irish customer includes a complete forming and press line with a mat-forming machine, the steel structure and its installation as well as the resin blending system.
The scope of supply for SmartPly includes the materials handling equipment downstream from the resin application system, the cooling and stacking line, a high-stack storage system as well as the cut-to-size and packing line.
