Second MDF plant in Vietnam for VRG Dongwha
30 August 2017VRG Dongwha has celebrated the official opening of its second MDF factory in Vietnam.
The line features state-of-the-art technology from European equipment manufacturers and at the centre of production is the 23.5m Generation 8 ContiRoll from Siempelkamp. (The entire line, from the energy plant to automatic storage area is also supplied by Siempelkamp.)
Dongwha MDF 2 is targeting an annual capacity of 180,000m3. By the end of 2017, Mr Kim Yang Il, deputy general director, says the line will produce 120,000m3, in just eight months after the first board.
Mr Kim also stresses due diligence and training as key to a successful wood based panel factory.
