Sabah wood product exports fell 9.5%

In the first eight months of this year wood product exports from Sabah, Malaysia, fell around 9.5% from the same period in 2014, reports the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO).

Plywood remains the main wood product exported but between January and August this year plywood exports fell slightly (-3.5%) year on year.

In the first eight months of this year it was only mouldings for which an increase in export volumes was recorded.
