Russian Tomlesdrev to invest US$120m in particleboard plant

Russian forest industry group Tomlesdrev plans to double its current capacities for the production of particleboard through the construction of a second plant.

Total volume of investments in the project is estimated at RUB4bn (US$120m) of which 80% will be bank loans. The new plant will be located on 13 hectares.

Construction is expected to start Q1, 2013 with commissioning of the plant scheduled for 2015, said chairman Anton Nachkebia
Particleboard capacity of the new plant is aimed at 300,000m3.
