Rougier Gabon obtains new certification
21 December 2012Rougier, global producer of certified African tropical timber has obtained BS 1088 compliant Lloyd’s Register Type Approval certification for its factory in Owendo, Libreville/Gabon which specialises in manufacturing 100% full Okoume plywood.
This certification is a prerequisite in order to enter Anglo-Saxon markets, especially concerning demanding marine structures and applications which require particular marterials fitted to requirements of stability, waterproofness, moisture and salt water resistance.
All BS 1088 Lloyd's Register Type Approval plywood products carry a specific Lloyd's approval number and the Marine mention, which make it easy to recognise this range of high end products.
