New OSB line for Dieffenbacher in US
14 April 2015German machinery supplier Dieffenbacher has received an order from Martco (a Roy O Martin company) for an OSB plant to be built in Corrigan, Texas.
This new plant is the first major green field project in the North American wood based panel industry in approximately 10 years.
Dieffenbacher's scope of supply includes a four head forming station, a Belt / Flexoplan® combination forming line and a 12ft x 26ft / 14 daylight multi opening hot press. Construction will begin in the last half of 2015 and the first board is anticipated in 2017.
The plant is the second Martco OSB facility to utilise a Dieffenbacher press line. A similar line is currently operating at the Martco facility in Oakdale, Louisiana, which was commissioned in 2006.
The order further demonstrates Dieffenbacher's strong presence in the North American composite panel industry. Dieffenbacher has been active in North America since its first installation in 1960 and has over 100 references in the US, Canada and Mexico.
