Star Panel to produce particleboard in India with Dieffenbacher

India-based Star Panel Boards, a joint venture between the Associate Group and Kings Wood, has placed India's first ever order for a continuous press line to manufacture particleboard in India with Dieffenbacher.

The pre-lamination facility will be equipped with a Siempelkamp state-of-the-art short cycle press and European impregnation lines. The facility will house a state-of-the-art plant with an annual production capacity of about nine million square metres of premium segment high pressure laminates.

Star Panel has also approved an investment in MDF/HDF in South India with two continuous process plants one of 400m3/day and the other of 800m3/day, located respectively in the current facility in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
