First continuous particleboard line for India

Star Panel Boards Ltd, India, has placed its first order for a continuous press line to manufacture particleboard in India with Dieffenbacher GmbH & Co KG.

After having secured the first ever order for a continuous press system in India in the early part of 2008 for MDF and HDF manufacturing, this is the second order for a continuous press in India and reputedly the first ever for particleboard.
This milestone once again demonstrates Dieffenbacher’s understanding of the Indian customer need.

Star Panel Boards Ltd, a joint venture between associate group, Mumbai and Kingswood Suppliers, Bangalore will build the plant designed for a daily capacity of 1.100m2 at Malur, KIADB Industrial Area, Kolar District in the state of Karnataka.

Dieffenbacher will supply the entire equipment including electrics and automation of the entire production line.
Delivery commences April 2010 and full commercial production is scheduled by the second quarter of 2011.
