Argentine particleboard manufacturer Sadepan Latinoamericana SA recently made investments in its industrial plant to expand panel capacity and improve the range and delivery of melamine laminated products.
The company, with a 120,000m3/year particleboard line at the plant in Concepción del Uruguay north of Buenos Aires, has modified the forming section of its Pagnoni press line to raise board capacity by 6%.
The change was also designed to improve density distribution and panel finish, according to the panelmaker.
In addition, Sadepan, part of Italy's panels, resins and furniture components company Gruppo Mauro Saviola, invested around US$1.5m in the installation of a new impregnation line earlier this year.
