Kastamonu Entegre continues growth strategy
Published: 17 August, 2009
Kastamonu Entegre, a leading player in the Turkish wood based panel industry, continues growth strategy despite the global crisis.
Press length of Küsters MDF line in Gebze has been extended to 37m and thus with this additional capacity, the total MDF capacity of Kastamonu has become 700,000m3/year (an additional 45,000m3).
Furthermore, the particleboard works in Terme-Samsun (Black Sea region of Turkey) has been taken over from Yontas. This will give Kastamonu an additional particleboard production capacity of 150,000m3/year.
Considering the capacities mentioned above, the total wood based panel production (MDF, particleboard, doorskin) of Kastamonu is now 2,195,000m3/year.
