Analabs acquires Coveright Surfaces Malaysia

The Coveright Surfaces Group – manufacturers of surfacing materials for decorative, flooring and technical applications – has agreed to sell its subsidiary in Malaysia namely, Coveright Surfaces Malaysia Sdn Bhd (‘Coveright Malaysia’), to Analabs Resources Berhad (‘Analabs’).

At the same time, a long term licensing and technical support agreement has been signed, under which Coveright Malaysia will continue to produce all existing products to the high Coveright quality standard expected by their Asia/Pacific customers.

David Miers, chief operating officer of the Coveright Surfaces Group, welcomes the agreement as an excellent opportunity for the development of Coveright in Asia: “We believe that in Analabs we have found a strong local partner with both technical and regional know-how who will give Coveright Malaysia the opportunity to quickly develop more customised solutions for our Asia/Pacific customers.”
