Dieffenbacher’s 100
Continuous press maker Dieffenbacher of Germany has sold its 100th CPS press since production began in 1990. The customer is the Weihua Group in China. The 38m-long unit, with a capacity of 250,000m3, will go to Fengkai City in Guangdong province.

timber processor to receive certification under the Australian Forestry Certification Scheme’s Chain of Custody standard.
TTF make a stand
The UK’s Timber Trade Federation (TTF) members have voted unanimously to make environmental due diligence a condition of membership, thus “sending a clear signal that its members are committed to tackling environmental issues”.
